Assalamu alaikum,

Eid Mubarak! I’m Khalid Ashraf, CEO of Deaf Muslim UK. On behalf of the Deaf Muslim UK team, I would like to take the opportunity to extend Eid greetings to every one of you. 

We are sad to see that the blessed month of Ramadan, where we united, fasted and worshipped together, has left us. We used the opportunity to remember Allah, better our characters and improve our level of faith through fasting, praying, studying Quran, reflecting, and giving charity. After completing many acts of worship consistently over the period of a month, now is our Eid day - let’s celebrate Eid ul-Fitr with delight! Enjoy your day, wherever you go! 

I would like to express my thanks to the DMUK team and volunteers that have helped us throughout the year. They have been working extremely hard in ensuring we complete many projects accessible to Deaf Muslims. Without them, we would not have been able to achieve this. We will have more of this support in the coming months, and continue to offer projects and services tailored to all Deaf Muslims, insha’Allah. 

May your life be filled with happiness, gratitude and peace on this blessed day with your families, friends and communities.
