Deaf Muslim UK representatives appeared on Islam Channel’s ‘Living the Life’

Khalid Ashraf and Owais Murad appeared on Islam Channel’s ‘Living the Life’. They have reached a milestone by becoming the first Deaf Muslims in history to graduate with a Masters degree in Islamic Studies in 2018.

Khalid Ashraf and Irfan Yusuf appeared on Islam Channel’s ‘Living the Life’ to discuss the history of Deaf Muslim UK, the first national Deaf Muslim organisation. They conversed about the 25^th anniversary event and current DMUK projects, including the Qur’an translation in BSL (British Sign Language) and the history of Islamic education, culture and identity amongst Deaf Muslims.
