Hadith in BSL
The Hadith is a compilation of records of the traditions and actions of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). They include the words, actions, behaviours and characters that he presented. The Hadith is the main source to learn the Sunnah. The Sunnah means the way or example of the Prophet. It is the role model for all Muslims. After the Quran, the Hadith is the second source of Islamic knowledge and determining the Sunnah or Shariah (legal code).
